Abstract:
This paper contends that there is a natural real emerging response via Space’s interaction with matter to any acceleration (change in velocity vector) of matter at any scale from the atomic to the galactic. If the Big Bang happened, then Gravity originated there as it is the necessary force that countered that immense expansion, brings stability to where there would otherwise only be chaos, and holds the universe together. A force emerges whenever, where ever there is an acceleration (a changing velocity vector; linear, angular, or rotational). That emergent response of Space is the force of gravity. Space is connected to matter at the smallest scale and Gravity emerges when Space detects any acceleration at any scale, even at the smallest quantum scale of an individual atom or within the atom. Yes, the force is incredibly small, but it is still present and its presence is experienced when enough atoms collectively manifest this isotropic force field. A large accumulation of atoms such as in a planet provides the gravitational force response for what is called a Gravitational Mass. The G-Force response of any accelerating Gravitational Mass is the gravitational force response of an accelerating Inertial Mass. This perspective gives an understanding to the question physicists asks- why is the force of gravity so small compared to the other forces? A different perspective on Einstein’s equivalence principle.
