The FitzGerald-Lorentz contraction in the direction of relative motion is the starting point of a short and simple argument that formally proves the inconsistency of the theory of special relativity.

How will you prove that you have changed a non-physical parameter like the duration of a second or the length of a meter? Maybe call on that cat owner guy what is his name. He has experience changing 1 body into 2 and later back into 1.
