Students in grades Kindergarten through Fifth must wear a school uniform.  The uniform for children in the East Building is as follows:

- White collared shirt (polo shirt or dress shirt).  White T-Shirts are not considered uniform.
- Blue bottoms (cotton twill pants or shorts).  Denim is not considered uniform, students may wear blue corduroys.
- Students may wear any shoes that they choose, except for flip-flop styled sandals.

1. Sagging is not permitted.  Male students should wear a belt to prevent their pants from falling below their waist.
2. Earrings are permitted, as long as they are small studs (both ears must be pierced).  No dangling or large earrings will be permitted. Single earrings are not permitted to prevent possible gang representation.
3. Gale t-shirts (ISAT, Honor Roll, Principal's Scholars) may be worn in place of the white top; however, uniform bottoms must still be worn.

* Uniforms are encouraged for Pre-Kindergarten; however, these students have the option of wearing their own clothes.
