Abstract:

Whether length contraction is 'real' or perhaps just a 'perception' is the focus of this paper. I offer several hypothetical, but practical ideas, in order to get to grips with this conundrum; demonstrating that the Lorentz Transformation does not provide an acceptable substantiation of length contraction, because it has been consistently, mathematically, misused. This essay follows on from my previous paper; "Physics; a conjuring trick with Space and Time."
